Letters to Her FB. 12

These are most of my Facebook status rants, I'll be posting them up mostly so I can look back and be like...
"That was good...when did you get so smart? And why aren't you like that now?"
Enjoy.

This is a public service announcement, this time on all things male, presented by a male.
The various content below is rated I.S.H.T.D.T. (I Shouldn't Have To Do This.) Based on repeated repeats of cheesy, stupid, ignorant statuses that only serve to decrease my faith in humanity.

I got this folks, please return to your seats, the situation is being handled.

"I'm ugly, like my status if you disagree!"
No...
I won't like your status, being an attention whore is ugly and I can't hit the dislike button on your stupid status because it doesn't exist.
I mean damn, I'm an attention whore too, but at least the crap I put up is slightly entertaining.

Not the case with some photo you posted up, trying to look as cute as possible, then title the caption with "I'm so ugly." Especially when you have a shirt a blind man could see through.
Then you have a dozen or so creepy ass dudes that'll all be like "U FINE SHAWWTTY!"
And then you have the guts to complain about how guys only use you...
You can tell you've done something like this when after you post said picture, you get a bunch of messages from people that you either don't know, or haven't talked to in FOREVER.
Take note tool, this might save you a lot of trouble.

The photos personally piss me off more then the, "LIKE MAHHH STATUS IF YOU THINK IM CUTTTE," just because you went through all that trouble taking a picture, editing it so you LOOK better, and then posting it up so you can be showered with compliments.

Note: I noticed that a lot of people that do that have the crappiest attitude, if you got that stick out of your rear, maybe people would feel like they have a reason to compliment you rather then feeling obligated, in turn, you'd get complimented more because you are more approachable.
Funny how logic works huh?

Compliments that aren't prompted > scripted compliments that people will post up because they don't want to feel bad for agreeing.
JUST sayin'.

This is a public education service announcement on all things male, presented by a male.

ON TO THAT GOOD STUFF NOW!

Ladies, I love you to death, no joke.
90% of you don't apply to this status at all, you act like human beings, which is great?
That other 10%?
That just need to shove it?
Yeah this is for you...

Shut up.
I wish I could leave it at this...
But sadly I can't.
I'd slap some sense into you, before you turn up on stupid show Sixteen and Pregnant, but in this country that's illegal.
I, this one that people call Nathan, take it as responsibility to tell the least spoken side of every story.
So here it is.

I was raised in a environment where I didn't need to be pep' talked about how to treat the other gender.
It was never that kind of an issue, how to deal with people of different gender/ethnicity wasn't ever implied, my parents simply told me.
"Don't be dumb, don't get killed, treat people right, grow up and get out of my house."
Simple right?
Yes, that's right.
It's simple.

I like simple.
I DO not like going through a complex circus we sugarcoat and call a "relationship".
For some reason, we're trying to play this "find the one now, live happily ever after" game we saw in a Disney movie.
Which is totally right, because that crap could only happen in a Disney movie...
You see any talking deer lately?
...
Yuhp, only in a Disney movie, where it belongs...
So please, on the behalf of all sensible males, don't make it a soap opera.
I hated those shows, and if my relationship is like one, I'm going to hate it too and regret it, every single second, and I'll end up telling my kids the horror stories of getting involved with other human beings, because that's what it looks like right about now.
A Horror Story.

Its like those crazy movies called SAW?
And that weird ass puppet thing is like.
"LET'S PLAY A GAME..."
And me, not knowing what is going on, would be like, "Games!??!? I can dig it!"

No, I shouldn't have stepped into that...
I got two things going against me...
One: I wouldn't reach into my own body to get a key so I could unlock some random strangers handcuffs.
Two: I'm black, as you know, the black guy always dies in the horror movie.
No Me Gusta.

But to the main point, I should have said,
"Nope, can't even do it."
And so should have you.
I consider myself a slightly sensible male, so in that I would like to point out the many things I see in the un-sensible ladies.
Posting up.
"I wish I had a MAN in my life, I'm tired of these boys..."
Then stop being a little whiny girl {notice how I said girl, I wanted to say something else} and find yourself a man!
Oh that's right, you're going to complain about 20 year old something, about to drop out of college, dude, that doesn't take you serious because he's involved with WOMEN, not girls.
You go guns out if someone comments on how he is too old for you, and your stupid self will say "age doesn't matter"
Well why couldn't 17 year old sensible Joe, who'd treat you right, get a shot?
Because he's not your "type"...
Well he could say the same thing, he's not attracted to stupid...

Secondly, its just offensive, if you end every status with "stay classy" I'd reconsider and lead by example.
Ladies are getting cocky, I used to buy into the "girls have more sense of things, because their girls, don't question it" thing until I...
Wait...
I never bought into that.
No joke though, stop being so cocky.
Stop posting about how many guys hit on you, you're not making yourself look more like a good "catch", but more like an ass.
Stop beefing with other chicks too, I swear sometimes, I feel if I did go out with some of you, I'd be a trophy boyfriend...
Just to compare and contrast with other chicks who do or don't have boyfriends.
No Go There "Shawty"...

That the second thing on my personal check list.
Which goes:
1. Does She have intelligence?
Check.
2. Does she have integrity?
Check
3. Can she be funny? In her own unique way?
Check.
4. Is she physically attractive?
Check.
5. Would I have a good enough relationship with her parents that I could ask her FATHER if I could ask his DAUGHTER out before I ask HER out?
Check.

We good to go.

That's what some consider a sensible male, I hope I make that cut, I'm weird, my face is a little beat in, but one thing forsure is that I KNOW people are going to be my attractive then me, so I have to bring something else to the table, and she would also KNOW this too.
In my eyes, and the eyes of many other gentlemen, you are more then a pretty face.
You could one day be my spouse.
And I want my spouse to be fully confident in my love for them, and like wise.
She's my queen, her throne is next to mine, not smaller, not less blinged out.
In the words of TI.
"She can get what I get!"
And that's how it should be, 50/50.
That perfect balance.

There are plenty sensible ladies out there, I'm blind to you sometimes, but character beats body.
Your yoga pants do any good on saving a marriage gone wrong, so bring character to the game, their are plenty great FEMALE examples that I can think right off the top of my head.
It's not too hard.

Just sayin.

Getting Over (Insert Name Here.)

You know what's the biggest problem of dealing with someone you are hopelessly in love with?
Walk it off.
Not in the literal sense.
I could bull shit you and tell you that.
"Well, if you JUST try harder you can get that wonderful persons attention and start a happy relationship and then live HAPPILY ever AFTER!"
No, case is, your going to have a heart throb for this person for the rest of your life, you are going to have to deal with that heart throb, one painful step at a time.
I did. (Skip this part if your not into the romantic character plot BS)
I probably met the girl that I would have married, I don't say this lightly, marriage is serious game for this guy.
I met her awhile back, 7th grade I believe. Had things gone differently, I would have made it not just a goal, but my mission to marry her.
It would have been something I COULD have done or WOULD have done, but HAD to have done, she was my literal other. Funny as hell, no doubt about it pretty, she was honest, overly honest I might say in everything. Intelligent, freaking ridiculousness status intelligent.
She knew everything about math, something I completely hated, but damn well loved it because it had something to do with her.
And she had these grey-blue eyes, and she wouldn't glance at me, she was brutally up in your face about issues, when she looked at me, she looked right into my soul.
Not even kidding you.
There'd be times where we didn't even have to talk, we'd just look right into each other eyes, she'd somehow manage to make it awkward. She was loud too...not even going to lie.
But that's before shit went down.

(Pay Attention to this part now.)
Now?
Almost a year later?
I still haven't said a word to her.
She doesn't exist. The only artifacts that I have of her is one 20 second that was supposed to be a picture, several pictures, and a contact number.
But all of it is deeply buried, and hard to get to unless I NEED to find it, which periodically I do, because it's the only thing I have left of that person. Every now and then I keep tabs on her, I'll talk to a friend of her's say once every chance I see them, which has been twice this period of almost a year. From what I've gathered, she's not the same person as that one girl in the pictures with her arms wrapped around my neck.
But I need the confirmation.
That it DID happen.
Because pretending like it didn't happen is the worst thing you can do.
Unless you are that type of person that pretends that they didn't make a mistake, only so they can either feel like a better person, or forget about it and have it bitch slap them in the face several more times just for kicks.

So Step One is establishing that it did happen.
But you don't need all the proof in the world.
I deleted our messages, her Facebook (damn we are serious now huh?) and stored our notes.
I made the few things I did have HARD to get to. So that it would tax my attention and patience to get to them.
But periodically, I go back and pretend everything was the same.
That's fine, that's healthy, but you can only do it for a moment through those FEW pictures, notes whatever.
For pictures, don't do ones that make the person look insanely attractive, most of mine are slightly blurred, moving, just bad pictures in general of a good time.
It's harder to forget an attractive person, we are all shallow like that.

Step Two:
Discipline.
I wanted to call her, to get back together, to go BACK to what WE had.
But I didn't.
1. I was butt hurt.
2. I knew it wouldn't further me.
That's going back to making mistakes and trying to learn from them.
Don't make the same mistake twice, because then its a choice, not an option.
I had to force myself to remember why I was in that situation, it wasn't anything I had done, despite the fact that I tried so many times to put it on me.
So then my brain would trigger my empathy emotion for putting someone through shit, so then I'd call them, knowing that I had gone through similar stuff, and try to make up for a mistake I didn't make.
This is the hardest step, so everything about memories hits the trash cans, I kept those pictures/notes because I knew I could one day look at them and aspire something positive to come from it.
It's a great confidence boost going back to the reasons why someone was attracted to you, its a total fail when it prompts you to get back into the "norm" with them when that norm is GONE.
Stop setting yourself up.
Don't set yourself up for a repeat dammit.
You are reading this, and maybe you are in this exact same spot.
You are going back to that person because it was "easy" getting their affection, at one point they willingly gave it to you.
That doesn't exist anymore, you're here stuck with me.

Stuck in this box of text, where I try to justify my contained emotions, and you look for someone with answers, or at least someone who's gone through the same process as you have.
I'm typing at  Hussein Bolt speed (don't know who that is? Google it.) I'm trying to tell you that you are a beautiful creation, that you are WORTH something to someone, but that someone isn't that same person that put you in such situation, that situation in which you are relating to me, and possibly nodding your head in agreement.
My words have been flying out like rounds out of a machine gun, I'm trying to create this WHOLE post tailor fit for you, the soul individual that this was made for.
Take a step back, ignore the people that came here because I linked it.
Just me and you. If this doesn't apply to you, sorry I put you through the extra text, this generation doesn't read often so it's a burden I know.
But to the soul individual who this was made for.
I understand.
I'm still hurt, still confused, and I am here to help you, as long as you are here to help me.
Don't scroll past me dammit, I want you to know that you are your own damn person, that you don't have to deal with one idiot, that you don't have to be defined by the actions of the few.
That you can have a second chance, and it doesn't seem like that when you are crying like a bitch, I know it, I've been there.
But this shitty situation WILL get better.
And it's NO use for you to be stuck in it.
I want you to be a better person, yes, I, Nathan, the writer of this.
I want you NEVER to have to go through this again, never be put in this situation.
I want life to go as smoothly as possible for you.
Can you understand that?
I hope you do.

But off of that.
To the general reader.
Step Three:
Find someone else.
You've made the mistake of getting messed up previously, now go find someone else to captivate your attention. But don't get into this step early.
Wait three months minimum before you start looking again, rule of three I call it.
Wait, there's shouldn't be a rush to replace someone that hurt you, with possibly another.
You need time.
Time is what keeps you humble, it keeps you in that state of bitterness, it MAKES you remember what went wrong, and how you should fix it, and avoid it at all costs.
So take your time when moving on.
Slow is accurate.
Accurate is efficient
If it's efficient it works.
And if it works, then it's fast.
That didn't seem like it makes any sense, but you can keep going at the same speed, dealing with the same idiots, or you can shift gear, switch lanes, and hit the passing lane.
That's where we go into Step Four.

Enjoy.
That's all I have to say for now, hopefully I haven't confused you, the reader to much.
If you found this useful, you don't have to tell me, I don't need a thanks.
I just need you not to get involved with the same people/activities that bring you back to square one.
You do that for me, and we will call it even.
The process of this is hard, but I'm here to keep ranting, and hopefully you can make a connection, and know that someone else in this world is here going through the same thing, that's all I need to know to pull through it. If someone else can handle it, why can't I?

Just Sayin'.

One side of the argument.

Hi people.
My name is Nathan, I am a Washingtonian, Mixed Ethnicity, American Citizen, male, and most importantly a human being.
But I like many of you, am slightly confused on dealing with the opposite gender.
I thought that girls in the culture I am apart of valued males that valued them for more then what they can do in a 15 minute span.

At least that's what I thought.
I mean, that's what you gal's post up on Facebook every three seconds right? "One loyal girlfriend is worth a hundred hoes."
So why is that when I (being told that I am of the gentlemen type) try and bring something up, try to 'spark' interest between her and I, am I always put on the back burner?
I thought the saying "Nice guys finish last," belonged in those cartoons we watched, where the bad guy took advantage of the good guys good nature, and escaped once again.
Curses...

But no really, I'm confronted by a shit load of useless information of what girls expect of me, being that I was a male and born with external junk.
Thus requiring me to start EVERY conversation, be the FIRST to invite you to go somewhere, and even hell wouldn't know what to do with itself if I didn't pay for EVERY meal.
On top of having a rocking body/killer smile/everything out of every cheesy chick flick known to woman.
Hell, I could be spontaneous, I'd like to consider myself a step up from the "get her flowers" routine.
I can do that, I should say more then that.
At least that's what I've been told.
Don't take this as some blog to get people's attention, as some desperate plea to get more people attracted to me. That was never the point of this post, this blog.
There are plenty of people in this same exact situation.

I can be romantic.
I can shower you in things, take you to different places, whisk you away when you're in dire distress etc.
Already off the bat I value your life above mine.
But I'm not getting that.
I never thought I'd have these waves of chicks pulling and ripping at my clothes everywhere I dared show my face to public.
Nope, never was an expectation, didn't even consider it, would like it, but at the same time would despise it.
Looks was never something of that great of value for me, I mean I'm practical with it, eventually she'd get old right? At 80, I wouldn't look that great, and no amount of make up could save her from the ultimate weapon in Ugly's arsenal.
Time.

But off of that, I wouldn't want all those chicks simply because I am looking for only one.
That's it.
And I'm frustrated I can't even keep that up when I'm not being mauled by a crowd of two piece wearing females.
Dammit.
I'm stuck in limbo, I'm here, a partially assembled male, only missing whats the most valued/hated piece of equipment he has.
His confidence.

So I try and make up for it with humility, I stare at your ass, and then make sure you know I'm staring at your ass, I won't make some stupid ass sexist joke, or enter the room saying terrible shit so you know I'm the "alpha male."
No, I'll ask you how you are doing, and you'll say.
"Good."
And then I'll ask you about how are you REALLY doing.
And then you'll say.
"I'm doing ok."
And then, get this part...having the satisfaction that I cracked through your social setting armor, I'll go further and ask.
"What's OK about your life?"
And that's where it starts.
I'll CALL you, not TEXT you.
I'm patient with you, because most guys that deal with half the crap you say, awkward or not, aren't in it simply because they want to "connect on a deeper level."
They really don't though, and then you find this out and tell the world about it....
But won't do anything about it.
Sometimes it feels like it's harder being a dude then a chick, hell it seems to me that 9/10 all you have to do is be good looking.
But I KNOW that's not true.

And that, that statement I said earlier can cut both ways.
I KNOW that there are ladies stuck in this state, and I'm looking for you.
But I need some confirmation that you aren't like the rest, some type of flag that'll catch my attention. It goes past wearing different clothes, it goes past talking about politics.
Could you do all the stuff I listed off before?
Would you? Not could you, anyone could do that.
But would you willingly do that?
I don't doubt it.
Now I'm just hunting for you, I see someone that could be you, but that didn't work out, she won't even reply.
I should call her up, verbally slap her around, demanding that she explain why hasn't she talked to me. Why do I have to keep it going every time. Why can't she just be honest with me and tell me she doesn't want me wasting my time and giving her my attention, because she doesn't want it?
I don't know, but I hate playing this game.
I did that once, I blew up on someone, and they gave me the exact response I had prepared for.
"I'm busy."
But I couldn't say anything, I was defeated with that, my confidence had already been expended, and no amount of word combat could bring that back.

So here I am again, one of many gentlemen who would like to date you, but are sucked into the system of where "girls just feel like they can have fun!"
So they date 2nd class dudes that only trash such said girls reputation and drive me away from ever thinking about being with them because of the crazy things I heard about that went on between them.
Then that such said chick will once again complain to the world about how "there aren't enough real gentlemen out there."
And all I can muster is.
F*ck You.
I tried talking to you, but you put me on blast and instead paid attention to Mr. Badass over there who right after breaking up with you is spotted leaving some chicks house at 3AM in the morning.
It's confusing.

It seems like I have to adhere to all these expectations but never give out my own.
I could list them off, but I won't.
Maybe one day, if I'm frustrated enough, I'll ruin some chicks confidence and post up all of mine, just to let it be known.
I'm frustrated right now.
I really am.
But I guess dating people I consider attractive is hazardous for my health, I'm getting people that don't give a damn about what I have to think, seems like it's the opposite point of view as well.
But I don't care.
This got confusing.
I'm done with it.
As you can see I'm frustrated at the lack of opportunity I'm getting, some of these girls I know that were in similar situations switched sexuality, but I can't do that, that's not me.
So I'm stuck, again.
Here in Limbo.

Letters to Her FB. 10

These are most of my Facebook status rants, I'll be posting them up mostly so I can look back and be like...
"That was good...when did you get so smart? And why aren't you like that now?"
Enjoy.

This is a public education service announcement on all things male, due to frequent bombarding of my newsfeed and vain attempts to ignore and remove stupid one sided posts from my newsfeed I decided I'd make every mobile user suffer the indecency of scrolling through this to express my frustration.
How about that?
I have this all too frequent problem with hitting "home" and seeing an update on how stupid the members of half our society are.
Yes I'll be quite honest.
Us males are dumb, ignorant, arrogant, and cocky.
It's true. So stop posting about it, and figure out how to fix it. What's also true is that's why we have such great chemistry with females, because it's the same way we view you on our side of it.
Makes sense.
No it really doesn't, I know 90% of the ladies out there have a brain and an idea of how you are supposed to act to be apart of society.
It's like that for us too, believe me.
Conscious thought about how to make things work, in this constant battle of the sexes...
Which brings me to this.
You're complaining about getting attention from terrible fellas?

Two easy steps.
1. Take down the pictures which compromise of half of your face in the upper left corner of the picture, with the rest of it dedicated to your cleavage. And get rid of that idea in your thick skull that those guys are going to comment on how wonderful your chin looks.
2. If you don't have that ^ type of problem.
Ask Mr. Right out, you know what you don't want right?
Nuff said, wish I could say that.
But alas someone is probably butt hurt about the idea of a lady asking a gent out to coffee.
Cause in America the social norm is dictated by fairy tales and Hollywood.

I mean sure, it sounded good in the movie to build a rocket that would send me to the moon all in my backyard.
Didn't work out to swell for me after I found out fire is dangerous, and or it capable rockets cost ridiculous amounts of money...
Even on eBay: /
But that's reality.
Stop going through the "hit or miss" route, if males are supposed to respect females just because they are female, and females are supposed to guard their hearts, just because males are pigs, why do we have the system we have now?
I'm not asking for a flip-flop craziness thing to happen, I'm asking for common sense.
Originally I was asking for stupid statuses to end. But I couldn't get that!
Common sense people! A gent can get with as many ladies as he want, he gets an applause. Have a lady do that?
It's just bad juju.

Hellah dumb.
And everyone I've asked why is it bad never could get me a straight answer. You don't know why it's bad, it's just cause it is...
Right. At one point in history I would have been expected to drink from a different fountain. Just because...it is...it was expected.

It's frustrating when a black person can call someone racist, but it doesn't work the other way around right?
Double standard?
I want it gone, all of it.
Especially this, with a 50% divorce rate in America we are obviously getting something wrong.
Let's change it. Start with the basics.
Quit with the BS, stop sugar coating it.

We can tell ladies to be independent, make them the main character in an action movie, and have them be a CEO.
But she's a desperate Debbie if she texts the dude first.
K.
This glass ceiling we've set up makes perfect sense.

HELL to the NO it doesn't.
So why role with it?
50/50, that's how I role with it. My queen will have a throne as big as mine.
Just sayin'
but i'd chris brown on him/her if I could jump into the past.]
And then I found out why...
His name is prince charming, he's a wonderful, thoughtful, overly-romantic

So yeah…
I’m back again.
With advice for the ladies, on all things dude, because we guys are still catching the flak on the newsfeed, again, this isn’t for all of you, but just the ones that piss me off.
Quit frankly.
There are many annoying habits males may have, we may smell, we may say stupid things, we may not think it through, and we may not care enough about what you’re thinking because we are playing skyrim.
And honestly, I was going to care, but then I took an arrow to the knee…
JK.

But I’m reminded of them everyday, as with the rest of the male populace…
So I’m going to do my part and be a troll.
There are some definite red flags you should watch out for.

One:
Speaking about, or mentioning how many guys that give you attention and/or have dated you.
This is HUGELY annoying, especially to the gents that are actually interested in you. We don’t want a body count; this isn’t call of duty, in that game should be the most accepted time to talk about your kill/death ratio…on very rare occasions anywhere else.
So I don’t really care about how many guys you’ve dated, if you’re playing a number game to show off to your friends how much attention you can get I want no part in it, the same will go for your hubby…

Two:
Stop talking about how there are no attractive guys in your immediate area.
There are two reasons for that.
A)You’re to much of an idiot to realize that looks really aren’t that important, in my head she’s going to get old, she won’t be as spicy hot as she was when she’s 80 as she was when she was 18. Same goes for us dudes…and we won’t have any make up to help it either mwhahahaha. But no really, if it’s all about looks for you, time to re-prioritize, your last relationships should be all the evidence you need. An additional note is that it’s damn offensive, I’m trying to cut back on that, this generation both male/female don’t have enough confidence why help contribute to that?

B) While you were too busy ranting about how they don’t exist, you forgot to look in a mirror to realize how not attractive you are.
Damn karma hurts huh?

Three:
Complaining about the lack of quality of males.
I’m going to say it to all of you, this goes for us gents to, our past experiences are important in guidance, but at the same time, totally useless for judging the majority of human beings.

Personally I get offended when I hear this, even when I’m not interested in the chick, I’d like them to know I wouldn’t hit it and quit it, like the majority of the males I talked to about this also said. We polite males, that have a conscious and a thought process exist, we are very elusive however. We don’t look for all the rights, with none of the wrongs, type of girls, or the ones we can’t treat like complete crap.

We are looking for our equals; the ones that don’t automatically agree with our view points, don’t try and change themselves so they can have more things in “common.”
Just sayin.

Yeah, so here I am again posting up advice to the ladies on all things masculine because us dudes are once again catching the bullets on the newsfeed.
Keep in mind this isn’t for all chicks, just the ones that WON’T SHUT UP ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP WOES.
Now then…
Cheesy, I have beef with cheesy statuses/sayings/messages/texts/everything, don’t get me wrong, I’m cool with “Spent the whole day with boo-boo!<3”
But not, “one of these days I’m gonna find my knight in shining armor!?!?!?!”
I want to kick myself in the face every time I see one of these, and then you so maybe you could catch an ounce of reality into you.
No joke.

Let’s go back to knights, guys who followed a code of chivalry, which for some reason every girl thinks that means I’ll be sprinting in front of you to hold open a door.
1. I’m not sprinting anywhere for you unless you’ve been shot and/or are dying.
2. I hold open the door not to score “points,” but because I’m not an asshole, I’d expect you to at least push it open when you’re in front of me so I can at least pass through. It’s just being polite right?

That code of chivalry? Which is a militaristic type of code that was set up so everyone played fair on the battle field, ladies got penciled in because someone thought that warriors, though as bad ass as they are, should still be nice to the ladies.
I agree…
What I don’t agree with is that’s what basically kicked off the whole “women are to weak/weak minded/need to stay in the kitchen” attitude we are trying so hard to destroy today.

So you can throw that out the window.

Some idiot male down the line thought it would be cute if he could make up something that would “make him different from all the rest.” So he sugar coated reality and came up with some catchy cute lingo’s to get the chick he wanted.
In that everyone followed suite and the media capitalized on it, so now we have this problem of males trying to be more then they are, hence either an over-confidence, or a sharp lack of it based on the fact they realized they can’t live up to that.

Sucks don’t it guys?

Mr. Man is all that he is, if your going to rage at someone not accepting you for who you are, make sure you never do the same, because we have faults, awkward moments and will make plain stupid mistakes. Just like you.

Last time I checked I had a brain, and a beating heart, just like you.
No idea where we came up with this spectrum to class human beings further, but we did, stupid none the less.
Just sayin.

These are most of my Facebook status rants, I'll be posting them up mostly so I can look back and be like...
"That was good...when did you get so smart? And why aren't you like that now?"
Enjoy.

So ugh...well.
I thought I honestly killed it, the gushy mushy news feed about what you expect the opposite gender to bring into your life.
I was wrong.
So...(This is going to be a long one, be warned.)
I'm going to be posting up advice for the ladies on all things brosky/male/dude because us guys...will never catch a break on the newsfeed.
I thought this was over...I really, really did.
Guess not. My dreams have been crushed.
So here it is.
Round One:
This absolute sacred rule you must preserve whenever using a social website, will forever more positively affect your relationships and the people you get involved with, and will make you a great deal less annoying is…
STOP POSTING YOUR FRIGGEN EXPECTATIONS!
I don’t care if you want him to “never let go and chase me if I leave!”
Your dumbass just invited every single stalker within the immediate vicinity of your friends list. And they are the literal type that will take your words to heart and,
WILL CHASE YOU EVEN IF YOU TRY AND LEAVE.
No really though, it’s just annoying, people like me? Just get pissed off, it’s almost a challenge for us males, to perform to a certain expectation, and it’s slightly degrading if I don’t have a singing voice and can’t play a guitar.
You’d get annoyed too if I was posting up every other day something about how Kim Kardashian is going to knock on my door and propose.
Hell, I even wished upon a star, because only romantic people do that right?
But reality socked me in the face, and Kim Kardashian didn’t show up…
Sucks don’t it?
In all honesty, what fun is there in trying to get to know you? All I have to do is look up your facebook and in five minutes I’ll be looking like (DARE I MENTION IT) Prince Charming.
And your stupid self would think I’m some God-send or something like that.
No idiot, three clicks and I knew your life story.
A pity…nothing worth knowing anyway.
Don’t do it, you throw out your expectations, and someone lowers theirs of you.
Simple as that.

Round Two:
Understand this simple concept.
Confidence is at a low in the male population, the majority of us also do not like our own body image, social skills, etc.
But you won’t see a “To Write Love on His Arms.” Commercial, you’ll see Justin Beiber or some tan buff dude.
So keep in mind before you rant on how he is “dragging his feet,” for some reason its our jobs to try and set something up, then let chance take a hit because its 50-50 buddy, yes or no.
If you ever are up to the challenge madam, yes the one that is reading this, ask boo-boo out. But that’s only if you can take the heat, which will make you much more of an enjoyable person because we automatically have someone who knows rejection or just the jitters from asking.
We, like you, appreciate people we can associate with.
So just keep in mind, if you EVER ask for it, be prepared to lead by example and give it.
It should be a 50-50 relationship, we, like you, appreciate fairness.

Round three:
This fights basically over, but tune in for this last and most important one.
Expand your horizons.
I hate how everyone expects a cookie cutter lady or gent that “completes you.”
You know those stupid ass memory games? You flip one random card, flip another, and try to find the matching one?
Yeah.
It’s a bunch of bull.
And there you are, still flipping cards, finding out if your going to find your “match,” that likes everything you do, and better yet, loves long walks on the beaches, relaxing nights at a spa…yada yada…
This goes for everything.
Tall, Short, skinny, buff, black white, whatever…you expect someone to enjoy you for who you are, and will rant about how you’re trying to find that person, make it easy on yourself and just do it for other people.
We have this stupid image in America that its tall guy, shorter girl, black guy, black girl, etc.
And that’s something that really pissed me off. And I’m going to have to bring it up one of these days when the time is appropriate.
I was talking to two ladies, that were white, and later I would talk to four that were black, but they told me these same things.
White for white.
Black for black.
I was offended because I was neither completely black nor completely white, I was stuck in limbo, and hugely offended because I was born with a skin pigment some people wouldn’t consider “their type.”
I wasn’t even attracted to any of these girls, but I felt hurt.
I can’t help that. Guess when someone I’m actually attracted to says the same thing I should just call in the towel and walk it out?
With the idiot expectations we keep falling for in OUR society.
Yes.
But I’m not, everyone has seen the flaws, everyone has thought about it, now someone speak up and say something.
Because I did, and will continue to.
You can’t give me a shot because I’m not your preferred height?
No problem, you go ahead and get with the movie style D-Bag everyone just LOVES.
It’s your life right?
Or are you going to step outside the boundaries?
Psh…dang girl, you sit around waiting for someone to notice you, and they aren’t. I felt it’s the same for me, so sometimes you just gotta get up and break the rules, all of them if you have to.
Because I would rather never date until I am 30 and find the right one that will be there for me FOR life.
Then set myself up under false pretenses and status quo’s.
I hope you view it the same.
Its your game, its your life, play it how you wanna play it, it came with a manual, so did mine, but I just ripped it up and built on it how I WANTED it to be.
Can you do the same?
Just sayin.

These are most of my Facebook status rants, I'll be posting them up mostly so I can look back and be like...
"That was good...when did you get so smart? And why aren't you like that now?"
Enjoy.

So here I am again, posting up advice for ladies on all things male, because us broskies are still catching the crap on the newsfeed.
I hope the select few people that really need this advice read it, it's important they understand this key concept of...
50/50.
That's the ratio of everything, an equal balance of give and take.
So I'm just gonna say it...
... You dye your hair to be DIFFERENT. You get a fat assortment of piercings to be DIFFERENT. And you buy clothes and accessories to be DIFFERENT.
But you’re still following the old rules of "guy initiates, I act like I don't care, and it goes on from there."
What...on earth...ever convinced you... that I'd want to be the first to text you... EVERYDAY?!?!?!
It's frustrating, and you know what’s the excuse I get?
"So girls know the guy ain't playin' with them."
HEY YOU!
Yeah the dumb one...
Yeah I'm talking to you, you’re reading this and you’re sweating because it’s directed right at you.
It's an antique way of doing things, I'm not this chivalrous knight in armor, I’m Nathan J. Tynes and I don't have the faintest idea why i have to start a conversation just so we can talk, and when I don't, I'm "ignoring you."
Shut up...
I'm not asking you to start everything, buy me flowers when you offend me, and have you ask me to marry you.
I'm asking you to give me some emotional satisfaction that you actually have the intention of talking and it's just not me bothering you.
We can't hide behind sexism anymore, if were gonna try to make a world that accepts differences then let's start with this, the "As a girl it makes me look clingy" excuse is out.
So what do you call a guy who does the exact same things you do?
Normal.
That's sexism, I don't agree with it.
I can easily get away for calling a girl that asks the guy out as "easy" and get an applause for it.
But I don't.
A guy can be up in your business about who your talking too and can call you every 5 minutes to check where you are and who your with and he's called "protective." and for some reason that's cute...
You do the same? And you’re a naggy little hefer that's insecure.
Guy gets a bunch of girls? He's a player and gets a slap on the back.
Girl gets a bunch of guys? She's a ho...
Thats sexism.
Unfair treatment bothers me.
Another Example?
Homecoming vs. tolo.
Girls at homecoming.
"Nobody asked me! GAWD! Guys needz to grow a pair."
Girls at tolo.
"can't even do it, I'll go with my friends."
It sucks sitting in the hot seat huh?
Yeah, then you really get to feel the heat when it's game time right?
All I'm saying is just put yourselves in the other persons shoes, take time to understand.
We are all human, the pain and joy is the same, maybe for different things, but either way it's there.
This ain't the notebook, that fairytale is just that...
A fairytale.
If you've set your mind to be an "independent" women that won't let gender boundaries limit yourself, oppose every single one, that's why some forms of feminism bother me, it turns from equal to all about me and my girls.
Pshhh plenty of people aren't gonna like or agree with what I'm saying, like I said, there's an unfriendly tab in your upper right corner, you don't have to read this if you don't want to.
Some of you also think I'm crazy, I might be, but it takes people of different opinions to make change, and little things that are unfair set me off, religiously, racially, politically, everything.
So keep in mind, the perception of you being easy because your tired of waiting for the right to "notice you" is wrong. You taking control of what you do with your life is for some reason looked down on because instantly all the guys are goo goo for gaga over you. You've demonstrated the key principle in that action.
You understand and that you think they are worth it enough to flip the tables and defy society.
It should have always been that way.
So if your single and reading this, drop a random long ass note, it'll make his day, same for if your with someone, boo-boo will appreciate it, I gurantee it :)
Just sayin.

So I’m post up some advice to the ladies, because we guys are STILL getting slapped around on the newsfeed.
It’s really simple though.
Nathan Tynes does not post these for the majority of girls, because the majority of are cool...and yeah.
BUT THERE ARE THE FEW...THE PRIDEFUL...THE STUPID.
That keeps posting up on Facebook stupid one sided things that just pisses me off.
... So it's time to flip it to full auto.

For some reason, you can cuss him out, slap him, scream at him, insult his mother, and trash his stuff, but when he mans up and stands for himself you complain about how he's not being a gentlemen, so then he mellows out and you break up with him for not being a man enough and post up "I'm done with boys, I need a man in my life."

Good job you idiot.

So as you break up with a guy that puts up with you, and respects you, you trade him for an ass of a guy who's just as hard headed as you, and easily angered, just like you, don't be surprised when you get slapped around, its a terrible world in which things that go around come around.

And then your going to sit there and cry about how you this could possibly happen to you.
Tool, I won't be showing you any pity, and I won't be saying "I told you so" either. Your actions brought you to where you are now...sorry if it sounds cold. But you didn't value the foresight of examining your actions...

Speaking of the gentlemen argument, I decided to look something up.
The Rules of a Gentlemen Tumbler is a cool blog and all, because it reminds guys to always treat girl’s right. (As if society doesn't do this enough for us.)
But it lacks a key element, being a gentlemen necessarily doesn't involve being nice to a lady, it also requires being honest with your friends, honorable in your actions, and respectful of others.
It hardly mentions that in the blog, 95% is BS an overly romantic novel writer wrote.
So get out of here.

As with Etiquette for a Lady however, it’s a confidence booster, just cheesy texts on how beauty comes within {which is true} that you shouldn't change for anyone {also true}, and...Well yada YADA YADA!
Good and all but flawed.

I feel because I am a guy, I'm supposed to act on this impulse that I've never had and will instantly know your needs and how to meet them.
That's not the case.
That's like telling a kid who can't even put the alphabet together to draft a ten page essay of Charles Dickens and his impact on literature.
HELLO? I'm Nathan Tynes, not a mind reader, be obvious with me.
No really though, you're reading this, and not understanding, us guys don't really nose dive into twilight books and look up ways to keep you occupied, instead we are playing video games and texting that other chick you hate because you got frustrated over some dumb reason and decided to stop talking.
Speak it with words back it up with actions, the hide and go seek game of "what does she really mean by 'she's fine...no really" is over.
Deep inside, you know that it's hard to get someone to do something if you don't tell them to, and you know you too trip out when someone expects something of you but doesn't communicate it to you.
Be obvious...No joke.

And teach, if you set your expectations high, and get a low baller who doesn't know what he' doing, it'll lead to you being frustrated at him, and him being frustrated with himself. But just remember this cuts both ways, he has expectations too, so you’ll find yourself in this spot as well.

AND BE NICE!
Dear God, if your going to go by the old system of {guy asks girl, because your easy if you aren't} then at least don't establish a reputation of him for doing that.
I mean damn.
Some of the stuff I've heard, that's not even about me, and I could feel the heat off of.
Can't even do it.
You can flood me with "he needs to be funny" but I'm going to tell you right now, "So do you."
Nothing is more boring {dare I say that} then doing the entire talking/joke making.
Just saying

Im'ma be annoying, and post dating advice for girls...cause a lot seems to come from them on facebook.
If you are upset that the right boy hasn't 'noticed you' get off your tail and go get him.
Simple as that.
You might complain about how "I'll look easy."
Shut up.
You play this game with the rest of society, in which girls do the running, guys do the chasing, but this isn't kindergarten anymore.... I'm always going to remember the select few girls that asked ME out.
Always.
Why? Because they were unique, they are different, and no amount of eye liner or fake tans can ever replicate that. And that's why other girls get mad. Because they're playing by the old rules.
Upgrade, don't do all the work, but don't do none of it either.
Hey there, I've decided to be annoying and post up relationship advice to chicks, because it seems the fellah's still aren't catching a break on the newsfeed.
{Keep in mind this isn't for all ladies...many of you I really do enjoy, you act like people, you have a place in a social setting, others though? Maybe not.}
You kill confidence.
It’s as simple as that. My confidence has been shot to pieces over this past year due to many reasons.
But I'll tell one of the biggest reasons of what keeps guys at arms lengths from you.
Your cocky, that's right, I said it.
Cocky.
Stuck up.
You strut your stuff; it’s gone from loving the attention to demanding it.
You surround yourself with people that entertain you, and nothing else. And then you talk constant mess about the guys that have tried to get with you, and the many stalkers you have.
Its not cute being stuck up, just FYI, its not cute constantly playing hard to get. Then telling everyone that dares presses the home tab in that upper right corner "how you need a guy that'll treat you as his everything AND treat you right."
Hey princess! You make me want to stomp the living day lights out of you until you look like a human tire from my size 13 converse tread repeatedly crushing your face in.
You act like you're the hottest stuff to hit the streets since Madonna.
You want all these people to text YOU all the time so you can be entertained and then you stop talking to the person as soon as they get "boring."
I hate that word.

Hey there...Im'ma be annoying again and post some more relationship making/maintain advice...because I'm a boss like that.
Ladies, you love being called beautiful, and every time it's true because someone who's saying it honestly means it. [They better...]
That dude has a pair to admit what he thinks of you...
Do the same.
It's that simple, we are used to being called handsome, call us dude beautiful, flip the tables.
And then he's gonna think he has a winner. I've had a smile plastered to my face for literally hours after. And they will still think of it for months or even years after...I did lol.
Go ahead and do it for your boo-boo.
It pays.
Nuff said.

Im'ma be annoying and post MORE relationship advice for girls because it looks like us fella's get a lot of flak on the newsfeed. [This is gonna be a long one...I'm pissed]
I literally sat here for about twenty minutes, typing and hitting the backspace bar, trying to explain why guys aren't asking out girls [because you're EASY if it goes the other way right? IDK who is the tool that made that up..., but I’d Chris brown on him/her if I could jump into the past.]
And then I found out why...
His name is prince charming, he's a wonderful, thoughtful, overly-romantic sweep you off of your feet kind of guy that showers you in money and watches cheesy romance movies with you, and buries you in flowers and love notes.
So I took matter into my own hands, you ladies won't have to worry about your guys coming up short of the "status quo" anymore.
Why?
Because I shot prince charming in the head.
Guys can now exist without the fear that someone isn't out romanticizing them.
No really though, this isn't the Amazon, I shouldn't have to do some weird ass dance to get your attention, and nobody should have to change themselves in the pursuit of finding out who is for them.

I ain't no prince charming, many of you will post up these cheezy ass marlyn manro quotes about "if you can't take me at my worst you shouldn't have me at my best." And I'm cool with that, but then its not being taken as I think she meant it, she didn't want all these young ladies to become stuck up little yee-ha's, she wanted to tell people that's she is human.
So I'm going to tell the ladies out there the same for the sake of guys, stop posting up "my dream guy {insert B.S.[ yeah with periods] here}
I'm not funny, I'm not cute, I'm not ripped, I'm not attractive.
I am Nathan J. Tynes...
And ill be posting more about this soon...I'm heated about what I hear, and I'm not one for sexism, but its been coming from a lot more chicks then dudes.

Im'ma be annoying and post MORE relationship advice to girls because it seems us guys get a lot of it on the newsfeed.
Ladies, we don't really care how many guys you have gone out with, and what you've done with them especially. It may be something to make us jealous, but in my view point, you’re showing me a piece of paper with tally marks, and then it pops in my head that I could be one of those tally marks one day. Just because you've gone out with 25+ dudes doesn't mean you're the good stuff, it means you're busy going from one dude to another, and honestly I'm a human being, not an option.
So just remember, this isn't a multiple choice test in which you fill in the bubble for the one you want...it's life and you are messing with people, and they're going to remember the things you said and led them to believe. And then they're going to tell other guys about it, and before you know it, that 25 guy + record has gone dry, just like your kill streak in call of duty.
Don't do it. This argument cuts both ways, I'm well aware of it, it's just that few of us feel like being public with it.
But anyhow, you know you're on the wrong track if you've gone out with more guys then you have pairs of shoes. So I'm telling you, from the bottom of my heart. I will look at your pretty face and say: "Can't even do it."
